Yargh. Well, I'm not dead, just sleepy. Two weeks...I performed in a musical in the Civic Centre for a week. School hasn't been fantastic, but with small joys in my science classes (I adore physics!) and the English language, it's been bearable.
I went to the library quite a few times :) I ended up getting a book on genetics, one on proof-reading skills (g33k), a book of poetry and I'm sure several other things. I love that library. Also, I've reserved Twilight...I may regret reading it, so I'm not too bothered where I am in the waiting list. I'm just tired of not-having-read it. I don't think I'll like it; I may keep it for the max 3 weeks, except that may be a little sadistic. =/
I also have a head cold, but with plenty of soup I'm sure I'll be fine :3
It's hard getting a balance between getting homework done and doing things I want to do. English Homework, or plan for NaNoWriMo? Clean the bathroom, or make vegetable soup?
I may just sleep for the entire weekend, cos it's pure manky weather here.

Or, the atmosphere's just a little atypical right now. The rain's torrential...since I left the house just after lunchtime for Amnesty, and I got home about 6'o'clock. In plainer words, it'd been raining for five hours straight. You know some rain you can withstand just with a hood, or even nothing, cos it's just lightly falling? Don't even go out there without an umbrella (ella, ella!), and even then, come back as soon as you can. It. Is. Rotten.
Anyway, there's me being typically Norn Irish by ranting on about the weather and considering it good Livejournal material. Not a chance.
I was out at Amnesty today, it was good fun! I'm the secretary apparently, I basically keep everyone organised :) Big things are happening soon....eee! Although spending two hours in a coffee shop, taking up half it's space and buying only one round of coffee is a sure-fire way to make yourself unwelcome. Then after it was over, I popped into the Oxfam bookshop next door...was considering buying A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, but I didn't. I ended up buying some old Marvel comics, the first Discworld book and a book on etiquette, as I am a geek and therefore stereotypically socially awkward.
Don't tell the rest of the geeks I'm using the comics as collage material! After I've read them, anyway.
Aside from that, I'm going to a 25th anniversary party tomorrow, and have been told to "dress like a girl, pleeeeeeaassse!". I was like LOLWUT but I just may have to do that. =/
And then I have a drama course starting on Monday, which my best friend's coming along to. w00t.
