Mum: Have you washed your hair?
Me: Yeah, but I just let it dry on its own.
Mum: Oh. Still looks like it needs another wash, it's a bit wild.

I love you too, Mum.

Happy Christmas, whether you celebrate it religiously or not!

Ended up getting a iPod touch from my mum and dad, a Trainspotting poster and a toy Domo-kun from my brother, lots of chocolate, and OMG season 1 of House MD! XD I'm very happy, because I only started watching House halfway through the first series. It'll be interesting to see how they present the characters in the start, and also the focus on the medical side as well. </geek>

Went for a walk in Hillsborough park today, was a bit nippy. Going into Belfast on Friday I think.I might go to Lush; they have a new perfume called Go Green. I tried it and didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me. Mostly to me accidentally spraying it on my coat and it staying there for the past two days...

Nothing much is going on, so I'mma go now =]

Well, we're doing secret Santa, but it's really secret...don't want to upset the others, but seriously...

There was a lot of bitchery on Friday at school from Davina, which was a bit unpleasant...about Secret Santa, of all things. I think he's using it as a reason to get mad because he couldn't get mad without a reason, because that would be silly. Not that this isn't silly, but I guess it's better to have a reason, at least. I told him that I couldn't afford to get much, and he whinged at me "at least you have a job!"

That actually made me do a literal (O.o) face, then I said "Yeah, except I don't get paid!" And he got all pissy after that. Ehhh...I dunno.

On the up side, I got money today from my mum, and I got my fambly's Crimbo presents, (well, most of them) and now all I have to do is get a few little things, and a present for Joanna, and whoever-the-hell-i-get-in-secret-secret-santa. Ah, this is, like, fun!

Going to Fusion tonight I think. I'm thinking of going off to make proper hot chocolate now, I'm a wee bit cold and I have nice chocolate for once =3

question nicked from [info]slapacrossface - what are you getting (and/or getting others) for Christmas?

Slán!

I got back from Dublin today. It was nice to be away for a while, although I really wish I'd had more freedom. For four days I didn't have anywhere to go if I felt stressed or crowded - I was sharing a room with my family, and there was no lock on the bathroom door either. A lot of the time I wished that my mother wasn't so 'involved' in everything. She would speak for me when she thought I should (but didn't), complain about every little thing, keep assuming things about my mood, make me feel so embarrassed when she got things wrong then blamed it on others... she constantly repeats herself, going over routines and plans that we have heard often at least two times before.

And then on the last day, I was feeling a bit tired - she said 'You'll be able to get to sleep on the car journey home, don't worry.' So that's okay, fair enough...then on the way home she wakes me up every time I fall asleep, then wonders why I'm so crabby.

Anyway. It's not like it matters, really. St. Stephen's Green is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. It's so green...it made me sad though, because it made me think of the park where I live, and how it's so run-down, and the only thing people have to say about it is 'don't go in there alone.'

In and around Dublin, I ended up getting a new pair of jeans, a shirt, and a dress...all of which are pretty cool. It's amazing how much spirit Dublin has. Comparing that to a town across the border...it's not the best feeling in the world.
