Whee. I'm glad I got yesterday's word count done on Friday...I literally got nothing done last night. Mum took me shopping *head in hands* I got some really nice stuff, but I'd have been freaking out if I hadn't got the words done.

It is now a quarter to five in the evening. My parents have guests round, and they've been here since two.

Well. It's now five o'clock, cos I just got called down literally just as I was about to start writing, and talked at for the last fifteen minutes, while trying to look enthusiastic.

Meh. This isn't my room, it's my hiding place =]

Seeya.

440 words of tomorrow's Word Count done, and introduced three new characters. Hopefully I'll finish all 1,667 tonight, I got it done! Now I can go out tomorrow night and feel okay, and whatever word count I get done tomorrow is actually extra on top of my targets.

=]

Hope everyone else's NaNos are going good! Hugs and sporks to all.

So. I'm halfway through Day 2's word count, and after getting up for food and to tidy up some laundry, etc etc. I sit down and forget what I was going to write. So I'm gently procrastinating, allowing myself a small bit of breathing space.

I have my lunch organised, though. That's good. It  could be disgusting, but either way, I have back-up f00dz. Emm...Halfway through the day's word count in an hour, which is pretty awesome =] Yesterday I had a shedload of things to do, and from start to finish, all 1669 words took me seven hours! ¬.¬ Not pleased that it took that long, but glad I got it done.

I learnt something today! I have a day off school on the 16th November *squee* It's AWESOME.

Anyway. I think I'm okay now, back to writingz.

1.37pm It's done, huzzah, my word count for the day and updated. The next 1667 is introducing more characters, so I might outline them, and even start writing them, saving me some time tomorrow (Saturday is *always* a busy day).

But seriously, I'd better start planning what I'm going to do when I get back to school on Monday. EEK!

Oh ye gods. This is so much fun!

The Obligatory Pre-NaNoWriMo Post

So. It is the day before NaNo starts...I have a vague plot, but mostly I'm letting it go along...the plot being a list of things that I want to happen, and a shedload of dares that I'm attempting to use.

Nom nom nom. I have a working title, it's 'How You Are'. Although I might change it...hence the 'working title' choice of phrase.

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty good, although that may be just because of the song I'm listening to at the moment; it always makes me feel fantastic, or at the very least 'happy'. I need to print out those dares so that I have an actual piece of paper to refer to...eek! Must remind myself that I have a month to get through NaNo. Although due to the rabid state of my inner editor, I might have to put every day's writing on a separate document to stop myself going back and relentlessly going 'OMG BACKSPACE!'.

Yay for flash drives. Porta-documents for the win!

I'm still waiting for my copy of No Plot? No Problem! though, got it off Amazon a while back...but yannow the fickle attitudes of the peeps that work in the post office, they could just decide not to come into work tomorrow. They've done it before! :P

Either way. Am looking forward to tonight. Cannot wait to get started. Although not having a plot is okay, because if I had a plot I would be hating it right now.

I'm doing nothing for Hallowe'en, thanks. Got more important things =]

Hmm. Have signed up for NaNoWriMo again this year; signed up late last night, and I'm now quaking in my socks. I won't allow myself to give up this time. Although I'm thinking of going on the hunt for 'No Plot? No Problem!' by Chris Baty, as it's supposed to really help. After all, the good thing about that horrific prizegiving ceremony was that I got £15 in book tokens, which was nice =]

This weekend was tiring, as usual...PDSA was a bit slow, but I was still on my feet for most of the day - ah, volunteering...if it were not for the promise of it being easy to get paid work when I'm 16...most of the time I love that shop, but sometimes, (yesterday) I want to give it all up. Oh well. I woke up at nine today, then fell back to sleep...I had meant to get up then, but I said to myself  "Just 20 more minutes, just to enjoy a warm bed..." and then I was asleep again for another two hours.Wow.

Four and a half days left of school before the Hallowe'en break, woo...I bet you we'll still be working our asses off until Thursday though! Yannow, cos we're in senior school and all that...

Nine days off school, wewt.
